The WA AHA Christmas lunch was held in January and was a great success. We had new student homeopaths attend as well as the usual professional and general members plus some from other professional modalities. Our fundraising efforts were supported by great donations as usual, thank you to our contributors. This year the gathering was even more uplifting than usual, as one of our members was given an honorary membership in perpetuity for her contribution to homeopathy in general and in WA in particular. This was Jan Owen whom most of WA AHA will know from her longstanding commitment to the committee and any events that have been produced over time. Jan was instrumental in introducing many initiatives relating to conferences and after the amazing effort she put in when WA last hosted the National Conference,
it was deemed one of the best conferences ever run due to its upmarket
professionalism. We will be eternally grateful to Jan for her wonderful contributions over the years and we welcome this acknowledgement of her efforts.
